Deciding Our Genre (Mindmap)

Our first A2 lesson was today and we were giving the information about our A2 coursework. My group for this particular coursework is Georgina Collyer, Laura Devine and Oliver Shellard. As a group we decided to discuss which genre we felt most comfortable with, and we found that we knew a lot about the genre of 'Indie'. There are many examples of the 'indie' genre that we were aware of, for example The Kooks, The Maccabees and artists such as Jamie T. Looking at these we are able to see the typical connotations with the way the band act,look and produce their CD covers and music videos. This research will allow us to create convincing and professional looking products.
